1980 Tatra 613 'Special', number 10, black (naturally) for sale, offers around £6,950. It is the only car of this type in the UK, and one of only 100 special cars made exclusively for the top Government officials in the former Czechoslovakia. The car is in the very good condition and probably one of the best surviving 613 'Specials', having gone through an extensive renovation process in the Czech Republic. It contains a number of characteristic features unique to this model including a full public address system linked to the stereo system in the car, blue flashing lights at the front, a blue rotating light at the back together with a two tone police siren. It also has flag poles on either side of the front wings and the insignia of the Czechoslovak Government on the drivers and passenger doors. The car is 15cm longer than the standard model and it has a mini bar between the seats at the back. On the technical side, the car's body is additionally strengthened particularly against side impacts. The engine includes a dual fuel supply system and dual ignition system, as a precaution against break down. The car is alleged to have an interesting history. It is believed that it belonged to Mr Vladimir Meciar "singing and boxing" first Prime Minister of Slovakia while he was still part of the Czechoslovak Government.
